Instructions

To type directly with the computer keyboard:

• add the sign = to type a small Katakana; example: : a=, i=, u=, e=, o= & tsu= (or q)
• Type â, î, û, ê, ô for the long vowels or type the underscore _ after the vowel

The characters ヰ (wi) and (we) are obsoletes.

5. Toggle the switch to activate Google Japanese Input.
6. Like with iPhones, you need to click the little globe on your Keyboard to switch to Japanese.
